About LIly

My Story

Meaningful relationships are what fuel our emotional and psychological well-being and are essential to our survival.

Healthy relationships whether familial, romantic, or friendships can make life more purposeful and fulfilling.

Hi, my name is Lily and I am passionate about helping you heal, strengthen and grow your relationships to truly thrive in every aspect of life.

As a child, I sensed my parents were unhappy in their relationship long before I could truly understand it. After years of being unaware of the red flags in their relationship, they reached what seemed like a dead end. And like most couples, they went through the motions for the sake of their “child”. But somewhere along the way, they stopped believing that they could be happy together. The inherent pain and frustration that accompanies an afflicting relationship only fuels the negative emotions and ongoing arguments. This eventually leads to an emotional shut down on both ends.

I can help you break the cycle of these negative patterns and guide you to adopt a new and positive approach to your disconcerting situation. This will place you and your partner on the path of much-needed healing to rejuvenate your relationship. Such approaches allow both the partners to feel heard, validated, and safe while learning how to better meet each other's emotional needs. These tools have helped me in my own marriage and blended family.

These experiences along with many more have inspired me to help individuals, couples, and families in need to better their relationships and thrive. Thus my mission is to create a stronger community by strengthening its residents and families.

I am both excited and passionate about assisting couples and families in the Valley, Bay area, and surrounding areas to bring a simple yet contemporary shift into their relationships for the happy and prosperous life they deserve.

My Story

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through trauma, conflict, and major life transitions. I specialize in marriage, couples, and family therapy, helping clients navigate relationship challenges and strengthen connections.

My current professional focus is exclusively on immigration psychological evaluations. While I am not accepting ongoing therapy clients at this time, I dedicate my practice to preparing comprehensive, culturally sensitive forensic evaluations that support individuals and families in their immigration cases.

My clinical background includes advanced training in trauma-focused therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). These approaches have shaped my ability to listen deeply, document with clarity, and highlight the psychological impact of trauma and hardship in a way that is both compassionate and objective.

In leadership, I have served as a Clinical Director in residential treatment facilities, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and guiding clinical operations. This role deepened my ability to balance empathy with professional objectivity—skills that are vital when preparing evaluations intended for court and legal proceedings.

Cultural competence and sensitivity are central to my work. I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and understand the importance of honoring each person’s story with respect and openness.

Why Work with Me

Immigration cases require both clinical expertise and legal alignment. My role is to provide a thorough, compassionate, and objective evaluation that strengthens your case by clearly presenting your psychological history and needs.

My Process

  • Conduct a comprehensive clinical interview to understand history, current challenges, and cultural context.

  • Use psychological assessments and screening tools when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure the evaluation addresses both clinical findings and legal requirements.

  • Prepare a detailed forensic report that is clear, professional, and culturally sensitive.

My Commitment

My goal is to provide evaluations that are thorough, impartial, and compassionate. Each report is designed to clearly communicate your story and mental health needs, while giving attorneys and the court the clarity and context necessary to support your immigration case.
